3-Day Gorilla Trekking Adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala/Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
- Early morning pick-up from your hotel or airport in Kampala/Entebbe.
- Scenic drive through Uganda’s countryside, with stops for photos, lunch, and brief sightseeing.
- Arrive at your lodge near Bwindi in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Accommodation: Mid-range or luxury lodge depending on package.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience
- Early breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters for briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority.
- Begin the thrilling gorilla trek, which may take 2–6 hours depending on gorilla location.
- Spend 1 magical hour observing and photographing a habituated gorilla family in the wild.
- Return to the lodge for relaxation or an optional community/cultural visit.
Accommodation: Overnight at the lodge.
Note: Trekking can be moderately challenging—basic fitness is recommended.
Day 3: Return to Kampala/Entebbe: Breakfast and check-out.
- Drive back through the scenic countryside with a stopover for lunch en route.
- Arrive in Kampala/Entebbe in the evening. You can just drop-off at your hotel or airport.
