4-Day Queen Elizabeth National Park Big Five Safari

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park

• Depart early from Kampala or Entebbe with your guide.
• Scenic drive through Uganda’s lush countryside and tea plantations.
• Stop at the Equator for photos and local craft shopping.
• Arrive at the park in the afternoon and check in at your lodge.
• Optional evening game drive (time permitting).
• Overnight: Lodge inside or near Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive & Afternoon Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel

• Early morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains—search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and more.
• Return for breakfast and relaxation at the lodge.
• Afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, known for its high concentration of hippos, crocodiles, and water birds.
• Enjoy sunset views and photography opportunities.
• Overnight: Same lodge as Day 1.

Day 3: Crater Lake Exploration & Ishasha Game Drive (Tree-Climbing Lions)

• Visit the scenic crater lakes and take in panoramic views of the park.
• Transfer to the Ishasha sector in the southern part of the park.
• Game drive in search of the rare tree-climbing lions lounging in fig trees.
• Picnic lunch or hot meal at a wilderness camp.
• Overnight: Lodge in or near the Ishasha sector.

Day 4: Return to Kampala / Entebbe

• Leisurely breakfast and optional nature walk or short community visit.
• Begin the journey back to Kampala or Entebbe with a lunch stop on the way.
• Arrival in the evening and drop-off at your hotel or airport.
